LOANCOS GmbH has appointed Karsten Reitz as Managing Director with effect from May 8, 2026. Together with Eckhard Blauhut, he will form the dual leadership of the company in future and complement the management team of the LOANCOS Group. This is the company’s response to the growing momentum in the market for distressed assets and the increasing demand for professional servicing and restructuring solutions.
Karsten Reitz has many years of management experience in the financial sector. After working for the Metro Group, he moved to the Deutsche Kreditbank AG Group, where he held various management positions. He held several managing director positions with strategic and operational responsibility, including in the areas of real estate, direct investments, subordinated loans, loans at risk of default and project financing. Most recently, he was Managing Director of DKB Finance GmbH.
LOANCOS has strengthened its team in response to increasing demand from the banking sector. Just a few weeks ago, it took over the servicing and management of a loan portfolio of more than 300 million euros.
“The market for distressed assets is growing, and with it the demands on restructuring and servicing. With Karsten Reitz, we are gaining a very experienced manager for our management team. He will provide excellent support for our current dynamic corporate development,” says Eckhard Blauhut, Managing Director of LOANCOS GmbH.

With Karsten Reitz’s expertise, we can competently support banks and other asset holders and are ready to take on further assets and portfolios.
